Nomadic - 2 cents

There’s a crap load of music out there and over half of them are not worth the time and definitely not worth the money. I have spent enough of my time at the clubs to know which beats will get them wall flowers dancing. I’ve also spent a good deal of my personal time mixing beats on digital mixers and multi-layering softwares, making 30 minute strings and even complete cds by sampling from multiple tracks. Believe me, my beats will make you want to get your groove on. There are lots of artist out there making cds that have 1 good track and 13 or so filler tracks…..Boooo. Lots of those artist are obviously ones that are more concerned with $$$ than their genuine love for the art. As far as club beats goes, I personally think that there are 2 totally different types. Let me break it down for ya. The 1st kind I call the “sol club track” that consists of songs that you wouldn’t want to hear anywhere else but in the club, why? Because the tracks have a beat you can dance to but the tracks itself has nothing else to offer ya outside the club. An example of that would be tracks like: Sean Paul – We be burning. The other kind are tracks that are dope as hell and have a sick beat you’d want to bump in your car, at home and definitely would make you want to get your groove on. Those are the tracks that get the wall flowers ass gyrating and head bobbing with the beats. An example would be like: Neyo – Sexy love.

I hope we can get some dialogue going and exchange ideas and even some knowledge about music.

I’ve got lost to say and I look forward to your voices and opinions on anything you got to say about music.
